Schedule

Your 5 day Ugandan adventure

Day 1: Night in Kigali

After a long drive back to Kigali from our southern base in Muganza, we will bring you back to our opening night hotel for a relaxed night, and maybe an extra long shower. Your guide will meet you at the evening in the hotel to brief you for the adventure ahead.

Depart Kigali and cross into Uganda, journeying through ever-changing landscapes as you make your way to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The drive sets the tone beautifully, winding through tea plantations and mist-draped hills before you arrive at your lodge. This evening, your guide will brief you on what to expect tomorrow. Get an early night as the forest waits.

Included

Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner

Today is the one. Rise early and head to the park briefing point, where rangers will assign you to a gorilla family before leading you into one of Africa's oldest and most biodiverse rainforests. The trek itself is part of the adventure, pushing through dense undergrowth, following fresh tracks, listening for movement in the canopy. When you find the family, you'll have a precious hour in their presence. Mountain gorillas are found nowhere else on earth in such numbers. It is, without question, a life-changing experience.

Included

Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner

A full day to explore Queen Elizabeth at your own pace. Morning and afternoon game drives take you across open savannah and crater lakes in search of lions, leopards, elephants, and the rare tree-climbing lions the park is famous for.  End the evening with sundowners and stories around the fire.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active. Watch the savannah come alive as predators and prey begin their day. After breakfast, embark on your return journey to Kigali, arriving back for evening flights.
