Day 1:

We’ll be meeting in the historic city of Santa Marta, the Pearl of Latin America, and a city proud to be hosting this adventure. As one of the most unequal cities in all of Colombia, this will be a very powerful statement of intent - we are here to celebrate a new future for all of Colombia, not just the richest. Day 1 is arrival day, giving you the chance to settle in to our Athletes' Village located in the hills outside the city. Our first evening together will include a briefing of the week ahead, a short history of Colombia and a delicious welcome dinner to meet all your fellower pioneers.

Day 2:

Wake up and get right into the swing of community life in the Pearl of Latin America. Santa Marta is hugely significant in the history of Latin America and is now rejuvenating in a truly exciting way. The race, and your work, will play a central role in this process as we create a landmark community week! There will be a variety of projects, from building, to social work, to street football...

You Choose Your UN Global Goal, You Choose Your Impact.

Day 3:

The second day of our volunteering begins. Splitting into teams based on your chosen UN Global Goal, you’ll be heading down into the community to meet those whose lives you are changing. You’ll be visiting the very projects that you have been fundraising for. Lunch is provided at the projects before you head back up to the Athletes' Village for sunset, a cold beer and a swim in the pool.

Day 4:

Rise with the sun to finish our projects as one big happy family. Cementing the relationships with all our projects, you'll return to the Athletes' Village buzzing like nobody's business! We finish the day celebrating with a drink or two at our Sunset Bar.

Day 5:

We’ll be taking in some of Colombia’s beautiful views and heritage, with some cultural visits and activities. Perhaps you fancy lying on a beach and looking up at the peaks of the Sierra Nevada? Or some diving in Taganga? Or just resting up and keeping the legs fresh for tomorrow's race. The choice is yours. In the evening we'll be holding our famous Pasta Party to help you prepare for race day.

Day 6:

The moment has come. Start line, time to run together, as a community - the world's most unique marathon route and the magic of race day. With the great and the good of Colombian stars there to enjoy the finish line with you - we’ll have one ridiculous night to cap off our celebration . Party into the night, you deserve it...

Day 7:

The race is over and you will have the usual aches and pains to remind you of your achievements. To take your mind off it we have organised some incredible experiences that show you the very best that Colombia and Latin America has to offer. Alternatively you can return home and transfers to the airport are included.
